iHTCTeam built iRootWord (爱词根 / 愛詞根). This page describes our data practices.
Summary
iRootWord does not require an account and does not collect personal data on iHTCTeam servers. The affix dictionary is bundled in the app. Your favorites, SRS progress, and preferences are stored on your device; optional iCloud Sync can keep them in step across your devices through your private iCloud — default off. No ads. No tracking.
Data Collection
- No account — no registration, email, or phone number required.
- No analytics or ads — no third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs.
- No cloud dictionary — lookups and decompositions never leave your device.

iCloud Sync
Optional iCloud sync keeps favorites and SRS progress (study log, streaks) in step across iPhone, iPad, Mac, and visionOS signed in to the same Apple ID. Data syncs through your private iCloud key-value store — not iHTCTeam servers. Disabled by default.
Permissions
iRootWord requests no special permissions beyond optional iCloud. No camera, microphone, or location access.

iCloud 同步
可选 iCloud 同步让登录同一 Apple ID 的 iPhone、iPad、Mac 与 visionOS 间保持收藏与 SRS 进度（学习记录、连续打卡）一致。数据通过你的私有 iCloud 键值存储同步——不经过 iHTCTeam 服务器。默认关闭。
权限
爱词根除可选 iCloud 外不请求特殊权限。不使用相机、麦克风或定位。
