All 102 passages ship on your device: Instructions for Practical Living, Inquiry on the Great Learning, Instructions to Students at Longchang, Essay on Burying Travelers, plus poems, annals, and concept cards. Every work carries vernacular Chinese and English in the spirit of Henke (1916). Unique Knowing-Acting journal and Three Questions of Liangzhi turn 知行合一 into a daily practice. Start from Daily Insight. Recite with paragraph highlighting. Practice in Heart School. Export insight cards. Add widgets, optional Reading Live Activity, Siri & Shortcuts, and optional iCloud. Getting Started (step by step)

1. First launch

  1. The App Store listing is being prepared. After release, install from the App Store and open iXin.
  2. Complete the welcome guide: Daily Insight → recitation → close reading → Heart School → journal → Liangzhi → gestures → privacy.
  3. Replay anytime in Settings → Help → Feature Guide (ixin://feature-guide).
  4. Usage, widget, and shortcuts guides live under Settings → Help.

2. Read today’s insight on Home

  1. Open the Home tab.
  2. The Daily Insight hero shows today’s passage; tap to open detail.
  3. Optional: enable local Daily Insight notifications in Settings.
  4. Jump from Home into recite, Heart School, Heart Hunt, journal, favorites, and search.

3. Browse & search

  1. Browse Chuanxilu, Inquiry on the Great Learning, Longchang instructions, Burial Essay, poems / annals / concepts, people, and 100 famous lines.
  2. Search titles, source text, and famous lines. On iOS, optional handwriting search recognizes characters on device.
  3. Star passages into Favorites and gather them into personal lists (心单).

4. Close reading, journal & insight cards

  1. Switch bilingual / Chinese only / English only; toggle vernacular, English, and pinyin independently.
  2. Open the Knowing-Acting journal (ixin://journal) and Three Questions of Liangzhi (ixin://liangzhi). Concept graph, timeline, map, and people: ixin://graph / timeline / map / people.
  3. Try immersive reading, vertical layout, centering, font scale, and segmented pages.
  4. Open Insight Card → pick style / ratio → save to Photos (add-only) or system share.

5. Recite & Heart School

  1. Open the recitation workbench for highlighted TTS, adjustable voice and pace, optional vernacular / English captions, continuous play, and background audio.
  2. Heart School (ixin://study): fade, fill-blank, self-check, and quiz, with mastery tracking.
  3. Heart Hunt on Home is a separate find-the-passage game.

  1. 切换对照 / 仅中 / 仅英；白话、英译、拼音可分别开关。
