iMusic (爱音乐 / 愛音樂) is a curated listening studio — not another streaming client. 4,800+ original listening notes ship on your device: what to listen for, how the arrangement breathes, why the song is remembered. Playback goes through Apple Music (full track if you subscribe; otherwise a 30-second preview). No account. No ads. No tracking.

iMusic is an independent app and is not affiliated with Apple Inc. It does not host songs. Playback uses Apple Music after you authorize MusicKit.

Curated guides About 500 original words per track, plus listen tips — offline, not lyrics.
Immersive play Cover colors, vinyl arm, lyrics / guide layers, queue, AirPlay and a sleep timer.
Song ID Capture what’s playing around you. A catalog hit opens the guide.

A sample guide

Guides are written by iMusic. Lyrics and album art are not bundled. This is an excerpt from Beyond’s Hai Kuo Tian Kong:

The history of “Hai Kuo Tian Kong” is not in a wiki card — it is in the first thirty seconds after you press play. In 1993 they pushed Cantonese consonants through a wall of distortion; a public subject found a rock throat. Listen through the mid-song and the breaths. Do not keep only the chorus.

Listen tip: ease the bass a little so the vocal and lead sit forward. Do not skip the instrumental — a second sentence often lives there.

Getting started

1. First launch

  1. Install from the App Store and open iMusic.
  2. Walk through the 6-page guide (brand → guide → play → song ID → Daily Piece → privacy).
  3. After the tour, an Apple Music explanation appears (vinyl needle). You may continue or choose Later. If you previously denied access, the button opens Settings — the system will not show the prompt again.
  4. Replay anytime: Settings → Help → Feature Guide.

2. Today’s piece

  1. Open Home. The Daily Piece is a magazine card with cover art.
  2. Tap to read the guide; tap play to hear it.
  3. Another one redraws from today’s festival / season / mood pool — it is not a whole-library shuffle. Whole-library shuffle is Roam.
  4. Optional local reminder: Settings → Daily Piece.

3. Hear a song (and the 30-second preview)

  1. Play from Home, Browse, Search, or a collection.
  2. Subscribed to Apple Music: the full catalog track plays after MusicKit matches it (ISRC first).
  3. Not subscribed: you hear a 30-second preview. That is Apple’s catalog preview, not a broken file. Subscribe, return, play again — you do not need to re-authorize.
  4. The mini bar uses a light vinyl + progress ring; expand for the immersive player (play / lyrics / guide). Pull down to close on the play layer only.

4. Guides, notes & share cards

  1. On a piece page, the title and artist sit centered; the guide is always left-aligned and split into sentences.
  2. Long-press a paragraph to copy, translate (system), or make a music card.
  3. Ten styles (vinyl, cassette, polaroid, letter…) and four canvases (card / 1:1 / 4:5 / 9:16). iOS saves with add-only Photos access.
  4. Notes appear at the bottom of the guide only after you write one.

5. Song ID

  1. Open Recognize from Home or imusic://recognize.
  2. iOS asks for the microphone only then. Nothing is recorded for us.
  3. A hit in the curated library opens that guide.

6. Widgets, Siri & privacy

  1. Add Daily Piece (small / medium glance, large excerpt) and Mood Tap.
  2. Reading a guide can show a Live Activity (lock screen / Dynamic Island) — tap it to return to the piece. Playing music does not use a custom island; the system Now Playing bar does.
  3. Optional iCloud mirrors favorites, listen lists, later, notes, history and streaks — your private KVS, not our servers.
  4. Spotlight stays off unless you turn it on.

一段真导听

导听由爱音乐撰写，不附歌词与专辑封面。以下摘自 Beyond《海阔天空》：

「海阔天空」的历史不在词条里，而在按下播放后的三十秒。1993 年，他们把粤语字头送过失真墙，公共议题第一次有了摇滚的喉咙。听中段与气口，不要只截副歌。

聆听提示：把低音略减，让人声与主奏站到前面。间奏不要划走，那里常有第二句话。

上手

1. 第一次打开

  1. 从 App Store 安装并打开爱音乐。
  2. 跟随 6 页欢迎引导（品牌 → 导听 → 播放 → 识曲 → 今日一乐 → 隐私）。
  3. 引导结束后出现 Apple Music 说明（黑胶落针）。可继续授权，也可「以后再说」。若曾拒绝，主按钮会打开系统设置，不再弹授权窗。
  4. 之后可随时：设置 → 帮助 → 功能引导。

2. 今日一乐

  1. 打开首页。今日一乐是封面作底的杂志卡。
  2. 点卡进入赏析，点播放即可听。
  3. 换一首只从当天的节日 / 季节 / 心情池重抽，不是整库随机。整库随机叫漫游。
  4. 想每天提醒：到 设置 → 今日一乐（仅本机调度）。

3. 听一首（以及为什么只有 30 秒）

  1. 从首页、分类、搜索或合集点播放。
  2. 已订阅 Apple Music： MusicKit 匹配目录后完整播放（优先 ISRC）。
  3. 未订阅： 只能听 30 秒试听。这是商店目录预览，不是坏档。订阅后回到爱音乐重播即完整版，不必重新授权。
  4. 迷你条是轻黑胶 + 进度环；展开为沉浸页（播放 / 歌词 / 导听）。下拉关闭只在播放层有效。

4. 赏析、笔记与乐卡

  1. 赏析页曲名与艺人居中，导听始终左对齐、按句分段。
  2. 长按段落可复制、系统翻译，或做成乐卡。
  3. 十套风格（黑胶 / 卡带 / 拍立得 / 信笺…），四种画布（自适应 / 1:1 / 4:5 / 9:16）。iOS 存相册仅申请「添加」。
  4. 有笔记时，正文底才会出现预览。

5. 听歌识曲

  1. 从首页或 imusic://recognize 打开识曲。
  2. 麦克风只在这时申请。我们不会保存环境录音。
  3. 命中精编库即进入该曲赏析。

6. 小组件、Siri 与隐私

  1. 可添加今日一乐（小 / 中号瞥见，大号导听摘录）与心情一拍。
  2. 朗读导听时可出实时活动（锁屏 / 灵动岛），点按回到赏析。放歌不另开自定义岛，只用系统播放栏。
  3. 可选 iCloud 同步收藏、听单、稍后听、笔记、历史与打卡——走你的私有键值存储。
  4. Spotlight 默认关闭，需要再在设置里打开。
