Is the app fully offline?
Yes for core use. The library and study aids ship on device. After install, browsing, close reading, recite (system TTS), Cultivation Hall, widgets, and local daily notifications work without network. Optional exceptions: StoreKit tipping (Apple), sharing to another app you choose, and optional iCloud.
How is this different from a simple ebook?
It is a closed Zengzi-line desk: related chapters from the Analects and Mencius, the Great Learning, the Classic of Filial Piety, and the Zengzi chapters of the Da Dai Liji, plus a three-question journal and the eight steps — not the complete Four Books.
What texts are included?
66 chapters, 255 sentences, 20 famous lines, 24 tales, 8 concepts, from five related public-domain sources. Learning English draws on James Legge public-domain renderings.
Do you read my Health data?
No. If you opt in, the app writes a mood mark to your Health app. iHTC Studio does not receive it. First launch never asks for Health access.
What does iCloud Sync cover?
Optional sync for favorites, lists, notes, reading history, study progress, and streaks via your private iCloud KVS.
Do you collect my data?
