Is the app fully offline?
Yes for core use. All 90 stanzas are bundled. After install, browsing, reading, recite (system TTS), study, practice streaks, widgets, and local daily notifications work without network. Optional exceptions: StoreKit tipping (Apple), and sharing to another app you choose.
How is this different from a simple Di Zi Gui reader?
iVirtue is a studio: bilingual + vernacular reading, karaoke-style recite, Virtue classroom (recitation / fill-blank / self-check / quiz / Hunt), daily practice tips & streaks, share cards, widgets, optional Live Activity, Siri & Shortcuts — not a static ebook.
How much content is included?
90 stanzas across seven chapters, with vernacular and English, practice tips, selected life stories, and 28 famous lines.
What does “recite” / “朗读” mean here?
Product term for read-aloud with line-level highlighting. In Settings you can configure what is spoken (title / author / body × original / vernacular / English) independently from what you see. Optional sleep timer stops playback at the set time.
What study modes are available?
Recitation, fill-blank, self-check, quiz, plus Hunt (寻规). Mastery has levels. You can practice one stanza or a batch from favorites / rule lists (规单).
What is Daily Rule + practice?
A daily recommendation with a practice tip. Check in on Home to build a streak. Optional local reminders.
Font sizes for kids / elders?
Yes. In Settings → Reading, choose standard / family / elder. Body text (original & vernacular) follows this scale.
Why isn’t there an “Authors” section?
Di Zi Gui is attributed to a single author in this library, so the Browse UI hides “by author” to avoid empty toggles.
What does iCloud Sync cover?
Optional sync for favorites, rule lists, reading history, study progress, and streaks via your private iCloud KVS.
Do you collect my data?
