How do I search for a specific problem?
Use the search bar on the Problems tab (or the capsule search bar below the tab on Mac). You can search by problem number, title, or keyword. When the UI is set to Traditional Chinese, queries also match Simplified content in the bundled problem library.
How do I mark a problem as learned or mastered?
Open a problem’s detail page and use the Learning Status menu in the toolbar. Choose Learned or Mastered. In list view, swipe a row to reset a problem to Unlearned. Learning stats (learned / mastered counts and rates) appear in Settings and on the Learning Progress widget. Settings → Learning Records lists every marked problem with learned/mastered filters.
How does iCloud sync work?
Go to Settings → iCloud Sync and turn the toggle on. Favorites, learning status, and the wrong-answer book sync across iPhone, iPad, and Mac devices signed in to the same iCloud account. Turning sync off keeps data on the device; you can optionally remove the copy stored in iCloud.
How does the daily quiz work?
Open the Daily Quiz tab. Each day you get 10 questions. Your best score and completion status are saved locally. Wrong answers are added to the wrong-answer book, which you can open from Settings. Quiz streaks appear in the Quiz tab and on the Quiz Glance widget.
How do I view a problem’s solution?
Tap any problem to open its detail page, then open the solution link from the toolbar. On iOS, the solution opens in an in-app Safari view. On Mac, it opens in a floating panel at the bottom-right — drag to move, use the title-bar buttons to zoom in/out or open in your system browser.
How do I share a problem screenshot or long image?
Open any problem and use the Share action in the toolbar. You can capture the problem as an image (including a scrollable long image) and send it via Messages, email, or any share channel.
Can I use iCoder offline?
Yes. All 999 problems, the daily quiz, favorites, learning progress, and widgets work completely offline. No internet connection is required for core features. Opening solution pages or external links naturally requires a network connection.

What platforms does iCoder support?
iCoder runs natively on iPhone, iPad, and Mac from a single SwiftUI codebase. Widgets are available on iOS only (not on Mac). Minimum versions: iOS 16.0+, macOS 13.0+. Some widget features (Daily Problem filters, shuffle buttons) require iOS 17+.
How do I switch the app language?
Go to Settings and change the language. You can choose English, Simplified Chinese, or Traditional Chinese regardless of your device’s system language. Traditional Chinese converts problem content on the fly from the Simplified bundled data.
How do I add and configure widgets?
Long-press the Home Screen → + → search “iCoder”. For step-by-step instructions, lock-screen tips, and an expandable widget catalog, open Settings → Widgets → How to Use inside the app.
On iOS 17+, long-press the Daily Problem widget → Edit Widget to filter by difficulty and tags. Tap ⇄ on the widget to shuffle to another matching problem.
