Is the app fully offline?
Yes for core use. The library and study aids ship on device. After install, browsing, close reading, recite (system TTS), Que Study, widgets, and local daily notifications work without network. Optional exceptions: StoreKit tipping (Apple), sharing to another app you choose, and optional iCloud.
How is this different from a simple ebook?
It is a Nan Jing inquiry desk: question-and-answer Difficulties, Four Examinations, a 2D meridian atlas, Que Study, and Daily Art — cultural study, not a clinic and not a static ebook.
What texts are included?
Bian Que’s Shiji memoir, all 81 Difficulties of the Nan Jing, selected Inner Canon chapters, 24 solar-term cards, 51 acupoint study cards, 10 lore pieces, 24 concepts. Originals are public-domain. Vernacular and learning English are study aids.
Is this a medical app?
No. Scene cards, the atlas, and the tongue sketch are cultural study of historical texts. They cannot replace professional medical advice.

Optional sync for favorites, lists, notes, reading history, study progress, and streaks via your private iCloud KVS.
