iHTCTeam (“we”, “us” or “our”) built GLUT Campus (also known as “桂林理工大学校园通”). This page explains our policies regarding personal data when you use the app.
Summary
GLUT Campus does not require an account and does not collect personal profiles for advertising or analytics. Core preferences and favorites stay on your device. News content is loaded from public university website pages.
No account
- You do not need to register or sign in.
- We do not operate a user account system for this app.
Data we do not collect
- No personal profile for ads or marketing (no name, phone, or account identity required by us).
- No third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs.
- No cookies for cross-site tracking inside the app.
What stays on your device
Stored locally (for example via app storage / UserDefaults / on-device files):
- Appearance preferences (theme, language, accent color, text size, layout)
- Favorite articles (separate from temporary caches)
- Temporary news list / image caches to improve performance
Clear Cache removes temporary article and image caches. It does not delete your favorites or most appearance settings.
Network content
When you browse news or open Campus VR / external links, your device requests content from:
- Public pages on www.glut.edu.cn (and related public school resources)
- Third-party hosts required for specific features you open (for example Campus VR or WeChat article pages)
Those servers may see standard network request metadata (as with any browser or app). We do not operate a separate analytics backend for this app.
Photos permission
If you choose to save a QR code or article image to Photos, iOS / macOS may ask for photo library add permission. Images are saved only when you initiate the action.
In-App Purchases
Optional Tip Developer purchases are processed by Apple via StoreKit. We do not receive your full payment card details. Tipping never unlocks or restricts features.
Children’s Privacy
The app does not knowingly collect personal data from children for our own databases. Since we do not run an account or ad tracking system, no special child-account flow is required.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page.

若你选择将二维码或文章图片保存到相册，系统可能请求添加照片权限。仅在你主动操作时才会保存。

可选的 打赏开发者 由 Apple 通过 StoreKit 处理。我们不会收到你的完整银行卡信息。打赏不解锁也不限制任何功能。
儿童隐私
应用不会为自有数据库故意收集儿童个人数据。因无账号与广告追踪系统，无需单独的儿童账号流程。
